Flubenol 44 mg/ml is a worming paste suitable for dogs and cats. The active ingredient in Flubenol is flubendazol (44 mg/ml worming paste). An injector contains 7.8 ml worming paste.

Flubenol paste is for oral administration. Method of use and administration:

  • roundworminfections and hookworminfections: 22 mg (= 0.5 ml) flubendazol per kg body weight per day, for 2 days.
  • other kinds of worms: 22 mg (= 0.5 ml) flubendazol per kg of body weight per day, for 3 days.

Flubenol works in dogs against roundworms, whipworms, hookworms and tapeworms.

Flubenol cat

Flubenol works in cats against roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms.

How often should dogs and cats be wormed?

The ESCCAP (European Scientific Counsel Companion Animal Parasites) recommends deworming adult dogs an average of 4 times a year. Puppies should be wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age, then every month until they are six months old. Kitten deworming at 3, 5 and 7 weeks of age, then every month until they are six months old.

Indication for a right administration
Remove the safety stop. Hold the stamper while pressing the ring in the opposite direction of the clock until the subheading corresponds to the body weight of the animal. Then administer this amount to the animal. For the following treatment add the body weight of the animal to the number where the adjust ring was fixed last time and fix the ring at the new place .

Example: for a cat weighing 3 kg the adjustment ring will be fixed on 3 kg for the first treatment, on 6 kg for the second treatment and on 9 kg for the third treatment.

Side effects
Spitting, in particular in cats.

Storing
Store below 25 degrees Celsius and not in the fridge or freeze. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Special warnings
In connection with possible hypersensitivity reactions direct skin contact should be avoided by wearing gloves. Restraint at the beginning of gestation. Do not mix with other veterinary medicinal products.
