There is a lot to consider when getting a kitten: you need to learn about raising a kitten, choose the best kitten food from the wide range available, take them to the vet in time for vaccinations, and regularly deworm your kitten. • When your kitten eventually goes outside, a collar with a tag containing your phone number (in addition to the microchip!) is advisable. For their safety in the dark, you might consider LED lighting for the collar.

• A special nail clipper for cats to trim those sharp claws that get caught on everything.
