No Worm Diacur 500 mg tablets for dogs and cats over 5 kg are effective against the most common worm species: roundworms, whipworms (in dogs), hookworms and tapeworms.

Active substance No Worm Diacur

The active ingredient Fenbendazole kills roundworms, whipworms (in dogs), hookworms and tapeworms after administration. The deworming tablets should be given as a course of treatment, several days in a row. The tablets are easy to divide into halves.

No Worm Diacur 500 mg contains the same active ingredient as Panacur 500 mg.

How often to deworm a dog or cat?

The ESCCAP (European Scientific Counsel Companion Animal Parasites) recommends deworming adult dogs and cats on average 4 times a year. Puppies deworm at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age, then every month until they are six months old. Kitten deworming at 3, 5 and 7 weeks of age, then every month until they are six months old.

Active substance:
Fenbendazole 500 mg

INDICATIONS
Dog:
Gastrointestinal nematodes: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Uncinaria stenocephala, and Ancylostoma caninum.
Cestodes: Taenia pisiformis and Taenia hydatigena.
Cat:
Gastrointestinal nematodes: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, and Ancylostoma tubaeforme.
Cestodes: Taenia taeniaformis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
None.

SIDE EFFECTS
In very rare cases, cats may experience vomiting or mild diarrhea.
In rare cases, dogs may experience gastrointestinal symptoms (such as vomiting and mild diarrhea).
In very rare cases, allergic reactions may be observed in dogs.
The frequency of side effects is defined as follows:

  • Very common (more than 1 in 10 treated animals show side effects)
  • Common (more than 1 but less than 10 in 100 treated animals)
  • Uncommon (more than 1 but less than 10 in 1,000 treated animals)
  • Rare (more than 1 but less than 10 in 10,000 treated animals)
  • Very rare (less than 1 in 10,000 treated animals, including isolated reports)
    If you notice side effects, even if they are not mentioned in this leaflet, or if you suspect the veterinary medicinal product is not working, you are advised to inform your veterinarian.

TARGET ANIMAL SPECIES
Dog, cat.

DOSAGE FOR EACH TARGET ANIMAL SPECIES, ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION, AND METHOD OF USE
Oral administration.
50 mg fenbendazole per kg body weight (equivalent to one tablet per 10 kg body weight) per day for 3 consecutive days.
The tablets can be administered directly into the mouth, crushed in food, or mixed with food after dissolving in water.
