Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel is a probiotic: it contains seven common, fat-encapsulated micro-organisms that occur in the intestinal tract of small mammals, the so-called ‘good’ bacteria. In addition, it contains FOS: an important prebiotic, or a nutrient for the good bacteria in the intestine.

When to use Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel?
Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel can support changing or challenging circumstances such as a change of food, the period after an operation, breeding, weaning (from mother's milk to solid food, especially if this is combined with moving to a new owner), exhibitions, boarding and travel. In addition, Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel can support the intestinal health of newborn puppies and kittens and can be given around deworming or after antibiotic treatment.
Administration of Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel
The recommended amount of Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel is 1 gram per 4.5 kg body weight with a maximum of 5 grams. Use the gel twice with an interval of three days. It can be administered directly into the mouth or mixed with food. The following amounts apply for puppies and kittens:
- Newborn puppies and kittens:1/4 to 1/2 gram at birth; 1/2 gram on days 3, 5 and 7 and again at weaning.
- Hand-reared puppies and kittens:increase to 1/2 to 1 gram on days 7, 14 and when introducing solid food.
