Optimmune Canis eye ointment is used for the treatment of chronic dry eyes and for the treatment of chronic inflammation of the cornea in dogs.
Active ingredient
The active ingredient in this ointment is ciclosporin 2 mg/g.
Administration
Optimmune Canis eye ointment is available in a 3.5 gram tube. Clean the eye with suitable non-irritating solutions. Apply 1 cm of ointment to the affected eye every 12 hours. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the condition and the response to treatment. Avoid skin contact during application.

Storage
Unopened tube: 2 years when stored at 2-25 degrees Celsius;
Opened tube: 4 weeks when stored at 2-25 degrees Celsius.
Warning
It is recommended not to use the ointment in pregnant and lactating dogs, as well as in breeding animals.
